Lincolnshire County Council have proposed a new deal that will see Lincoln High Street get a facelift.

Paving the area of street between Tentercroft Street and St Mary’s Street and an added  seating area will be proposed as part of this city centre deal.

These improvements will cost the County Council £800,000 and will come from a government grant in the coming year.

This money would be part of the £2.7m of the money handed down from central government to successfully “help unlock growth in Lincoln.”
